Representative Drew Stokesbary visited the Sumner City Council on Monday to give an update of what’s happening at the State and how it can affect Sumner.
He noted that when he scheduled the update, he though they’d be done already, but he proceeded with status reports about Sumner items in the Capital Projects and Transportation budgets.
Both are on hold while legislators wrangle with the Operating Budget, but when they do go through, Sumner is (so far) in good position for funding for flood protection and perhaps transportation. Thank you, Rep. Stokesbary!
