In recognition of Labor Day, Drew Stokesbary is announcing the strong support his campaign for State Representative has received from Washington state’s construction industry. Stokesbary has been endorsed by the following groups:
- Associated Builders and Contractors of Western Washington
- Associated General Contractors of Washington
- Building Industry Association of Washington
- Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties
- Master Builders Association of Pierce County
- Mechanical Contractors Association of Western Washington
- National Electrical Contractors Association
These organizations represent a broad cross-section of the Washington construction industry. They include both general contractors and specialty contractors, hire both union and non-union workers, and work on both residential and commercial projects.
“Unfortunately, our region is still feeling the effects of the 2008 recession,” said Stokesbary. “New construction is a leading indicator of economic growth, and these groups support me because I offer the best plan to create the jobs necessary to help our economy bounce back from the recession.”
