The Washington Council of Police & Sheriffs (WACOPS), the largest law enforcement association in the state, has endorsed Drew Stokesbary in his campaign for State Representative. In its endorsement, WACOPS expressed appreciation for Stokesbary’s “support of public safety and law enforcement officers.”

“Protecting public safety is a core function of our government,” said Drew Stokesbary. “That means recruiting and retaining the best officers, and giving them the tools they need to do their job well and remain safe. I look forward to supporting public safety and law enforcement officers in the State House of Representatives.”

WACOPS is the largest and oldest organization representing law enforcement professionals in Washington State. Its membership is made up of law enforcement guilds from across the state, including the Bonney Lake Police Guild, Buckley Police Officers, Enumclaw Police Officers’ Association, Sumner Police Guild, and Pierce County Sheriff’s Independent Guild. Drew Stokesbary was previously endorsed by another law enforcement organization, the Washington State Patrol Troopers Association.
